Biography
Elvana Shala has born on 11.05.1990 in Peja / Republic of Kosovo
She has graduated in BA of Mass Communication & Journalism at the AAB College and BA of Political Science at the University of Pristina . On 14th February 2001 Elvana is presented for the first time to the public by playing the leading role in the drama ' And we want light “ which aimed to recognize certain rights for persons with disabilities . So she went away as the main commentator on the drama ' Nest swallows ' in 2002. In June of 2003 she is invited by the organization ' Save the Children ' from Pristina to represent for the first time Republic of Kosovo in the " 1st world congress for children with disabilities " from age 10-18 years which is held in Wells , England. Meanwhile in March 2003 for the first time she appear before the public as the presenter of Knowledge Quiz , Quiz realized by a group of children Handikos center. In 2004 Elvana is appointed as a deputy of Youth Parliament in Peja . And so as a member of this assembly together with other colleagues she has followed the 10 days of training on the rights of children taught by different lecturers in OSCE. So in June of this year Elvana is invited to be a moderator of Mini-Olympic for people with disabilities "Kosovo 2006" , held at the Police Academy in Vushtrri. In this event she is crowned with a medal " Honorary Moderator " , the title given by the president of OPFAKOS " Parent and child " Shaqir Haxhaj. To continuing the yearly tradition of presenting this event . As a writer of literary essays this year she takes part in literary event organized on the occasion of 16th June " Peja Liberation Day " . Among the many artists with high authority Elvana even that she was a young creative writter , arrives to be rewarded with first place and won the title
" Best Poet " , this award was granted from the Director of the Directorate of Culture Youth and Sport at the Municipality of Peja Zejnullah Ismaili . In of November of that year, she still takes part in another literary event organized this time organized this time for " National Flag Day " in which she again takes first place at the school level, price which was given by the President of the Union of Writers of Kosovo Peja branch Sejdi Berisha .In August 2007 she receives invitation from ARS arts organizations from Peja to participate in the Summer School on Human Rights organized by YIHR from Pristina in cooperation with the Helsinki Committee which was held in Vermice in order to better recognition of the rights of communities and different ethnicities of balkans. After these 10 days stay in Vermicë in November of that year that applies to participate in the workshops of international student festival for film and theater Scene Up that was held in Pristina. In this workshop participants who were present had the opportunity to get acquainted with the analysis applied to film and theater lectured by Austrian actor Arnold Aschauer . Year 2008 was also a successful year for her. She took part in many workshops which were organized by different organizations and the government of Kosovo. She was also part of the organizing staff of the show " Miss Peja 2008 " being one of the members of the jury in this spectacle . In November this year she is invited from Youth Initiative of Human Rights from Pristina to participate in the " 14th regional school for youth of West Balkan " held in Brezovica, that aimed to improve relations with the young people from neighboring Balkan countries . She was also part of the presentation of the first draft of the National Plan of Action for Persons with Disabilities in Peja .The year 2009 begins with its participation in the two-day training on the topic : " Methodology of Self - Support as a Source for Community , Disability , Tobacco and Alcohol Dependency " organized by the Centre for Self - Support and funded by Trentino con il Kosovo . Days later also appointed member of the Youth Forum of the LDK branch in Peja . Also a few months ago also invited to be a member of the Study Group in collaboration with Trentino con il Kosovo and Cooperazzione Colomba . November 2009 brings Elvana as a moderator of commemorative ceremony dedicated to the 2 Italian humanists who tragically lost their lives in Kosovo Antonio Sercana and Roberto BAZZONI " this invitation cames from the father of Mr. Roberto . Sebastiano BAZZONI . But year of 2012 brings it as the main image of the catalog " 100 years of Albanian country" realized by Francesk Frokaj Photography. Based on all of these experiencies as a young leader in 2014 she is appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for Kosovo in International Human Rights Commission

Now she is representing Republic of Kosovo as a very successful young leader in international area.
